京都

Kyoto

A thousand temples. A hundred gardens. The spiritual heart of Japan, where every stone path leads somewhere worth remembering. We unlock private access that guidebooks never mention.

大阪

Osaka

Where Japan lets its guard down. Street food markets, neon-lit canals, and the warmest locals in the country. The ideal counterpoint to Kyoto's quiet — and the region's logistics hub.

奈良

Nara

Ancient capital. Free-roaming deer. The world's oldest wooden structure. Nara delivers the weight of Japanese history in a single afternoon — without the crowds of its famous neighbour.

神戸

Kobe

The cosmopolitan port city where East first met West. Harbour views, wagyu at the source, sake breweries in Nada. Kobe adds sophistication and variety to every Kansai itinerary.

茶道体験

Private Tea Ceremony

Not the tourist version. We arrange private chadō sessions with masters who carry decades of lineage — in tea rooms that rarely open to groups. Your clients receive the bowl with both hands and understand, for the first time, what ceremony means.

職人工房

Artisan Studio Visits

Lacquerware carvers in Wajima. Indigo dyers in the Kyoto backstreets. Sword polishers who work by feel alone. We connect your groups to craftspeople who measure their practice in generations, not years.

Route Design

Custom itinerary planning with optimised routing, timing, and contingency. We know which temple to visit at 7am and which market peaks at dusk.

Cultural Access

Private tea ceremonies, artisan studio visits, temple openings before dawn. Experiences your clients will not find on any booking platform.

03

宿泊手配

Accommodation

From century-old ryokan to modern design hotels — curated, vetted, and booked at rates only a local partner can negotiate.

04

交通管理

Transportation

Charter buses, private vehicles, Shinkansen coordination, airport transfers. Door-to-door logistics across the entire Kansai corridor.

05

We handle everything on the ground. You focus on your clients. Post-trip report delivered within one week.

"Kandō turned a 40-person incentive trip in Kyoto into something our executives still reference in meetings. Their local knowledge is genuinely irreplaceable — they got us into a lacquerware studio that doesn't take groups."

Sarah Chen
VP of Travel · Deloitte Asia Pacific

"We partner with DMCs across Asia. In Kansai, Kandō is the only call we make. Fourteen groups last year across four cities, zero operational issues. They anticipate problems before they become ones."

Operations Director · Kuoni Travel
What group sizes do you support?
We handle groups from 8 to 200 guests. Most of our work falls in the 15–60 range — corporate incentives, study tours, and premium leisure groups. For larger events (conferences, multi-bus tours), we bring in additional coordinators from our network.
How far in advance should we book?
Three to six months is ideal, especially for peak seasons (cherry blossom in March–April, autumn foliage in November). We can accommodate shorter timelines, but venue and accommodation availability narrows considerably under 8 weeks.
Do you handle MICE events?
Yes. Meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions are a core part of our work. We coordinate venue sourcing, AV setup, catering, team-building activities, and post-event cultural programmes across all five Kansai cities.
What languages do your guides speak?
Our licensed guides are fluent in English, Mandarin, Korean, French, German, Spanish, and Italian. All are nationally certified and specialise in cultural interpretation — not just translation.
What does "destination management" cost?
Pricing depends on group size, duration, and programme complexity. A typical 4-day programme for 20 guests ranges from ¥1.2M–¥2.5M. We provide transparent, itemised quotes — no hidden margins on supplier costs.
